Real African black soap, made in Ghana the traditional way — plantain skins, cocoa pod ash, palm oil, and shea butter, formed into bars by hand. This is the soap West African families have washed with for generations, sourced from a named origin and imported through an established U.S. importer.

What it is: a traditional cleansing bar for face and body. Ingredients vary slightly by batch, as handmade soap does — that variation is the mark of the real thing.

What we will not claim: this is soap, not medicine. We sell it as what it is — an authentic, traditional product — and we do not repeat the miracle claims other sellers attach to it.
